Nigeria to begin Gold and precious metal refinery as Vice President Osibanjo is to commission refinery centers

In the quest to enhance the economy of the country, the government of Nigeria has decided to embark on a journey into the business of gold and precious metal refinery, the first step of this promising venture is to be taken tomorrow 9th of June 2020, as Vice-President, Yemi Osibanjo and the Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Arc. Olamilekan Adegbite are officially launching the Dukia Gold & Precious Metals Raw Materials Buying Program. The event will also be the advent of Metal buying centers in partnership with Heritage Bank Plc, hence the name Dukia-Heritage Bank Gold and Precious Metal Buying Centers, the event will be declared open by the Governor of Ekiti State His Excellency Kayode Fayemi, and other high profiled Government Officials will be in attendance. 

The event goes by the theme “The Future of Gold and Precious Metals in Africa”, and it’s going to mark the commencements of the activities of the Dukia Gold and Precious Metal Refining Company Limited and others, event will also be available for online viewing via Zoom-Meet and Chat’ Platform, scheduled to begin at 9am on Tuesday June 9, 2020.
