SOCCER : EPL referees and officials to undergo COVID-19 tests ahead of resumption of the season

As the English Premier League is scheduled to resume on June 17, it has become imperative for the match officials to be tested for COVID-19, since they have not been tested all this while, there are going to be various rounds of tests within the next 72 hours, the officials are expected to report to the nearest Premier League training ground to them for the first round of tests which will be carried out with home kits. The officials are to be tested twice a week with hopes that they’ll be fit to officiate in the opening matches on Wednesday, 17 June.
