L’OFFICIEL, a well-known French fashion magazine, has announced ambitions to debut a portion of its seasons in the fast growing metaverse concept.
In a blog post, L’OFFICIEL stated that the metaverse is the company’s future, and that the company’s recent acquisition by Hong Kong-based financial services group AMTD International will aid in this transition.
In the virtual game environment The Sandbox, dubbed Fashion Skin, AMTD International will debut its cooperation with L’OFFICIEL.
A virtual garment collection will be built with artificial intelligence and linked to L’OFFICIEL’s database as part of the project. During its century of publication, the magazine claims to have over 100,000 exclusive images.
The metaverse idea is growing at ab exponential rate. Most of the companies are beginning to tap into the world of opportunities presented by metaverse. The French magazine is not an exception.
