Annual Agemo Festival in Ijebuland To Kickstart July 2nd.

Agemo festival is a masked festival, traditionally held in many Yoruba cities but more popular within the Ijebu people of Ogun state.

This festival is mostly celebrated between the months of June and August.

This year’s Agemo Festival has been announced to commence on Tuesday, 2nd July 2024 .

The belief which have been pass down from generation to generation, was that females are not allowed to see the deity. In all areas, Female staffs are to close by 12:00 noon to avoid any menace

School activities has been shifted to Wednesday 3rd July, 2024. This announcement has been made to prevent any avoidable scenario during Alagemos procession.
